Student Work
Most of this selection of student work was recently created in various community college classes I have instructed including: Drawing l/ll, Painting l/ll, Figure Drawing and Color Theory. Foundations classes are rooted in direct observation, with special attention paid to perspective, light, and composition. Technology has been a valuable tool in the studio arts for drawing, painting and color studies, creating reference, video tutorials, and accessing influencial historical and modern artists. Most importantly, my students are learning how to maximize their web-presence by "branding" the product of their art in order to become relevant arts professionals. Many of my high school and transfer students attain scholarship to leading art schools around the country.
